What RIALTO changes day to day.
Six situations every ALM and banking risk team knows, and what they become with RIALTO.
Case 01
Query your results in natural language.
SituationEvery question on the results goes through an extract, a pivot table or a request to the team producing the numbers. The answer comes late, often without its context.
With RIALTOThe question is asked in natural language. RIALTO queries the engine's results directly and answers with:
- A quantified answer: ranking, breakdown, change, for the requested date and scope.
- The table or chart: copyable, exportable as PNG, pinnable to a dashboard.
- Provenance: reporting date, entity, calculation status and source data shown.
- Follow-up questions: refine, drill down a level, compare without starting over.
OutcomeThe answer in seconds, with the same numbers as production, available to everyone without queries or extracts.

Case 02
Explaining a change between two reporting dates.
SituationEVE (economic value of equity) or LCR (liquidity coverage ratio) has moved, the committee is in three days, the explanation is built by hand.
With RIALTOThe EVE bridge or LCR attribution analysis breaks the change down by effect and by item, drill-down goes to the finest granularity, the commentary is produced.
OutcomeDays of work reduced to a few seconds, a defensible explanation.

Case 03
Securing regulatory production.
SituationRegulatory metrics are computed in spreadsheets: manual adjustments, checks redone at every reporting date, and traceability that is hard to demonstrate.
With RIALTOData is checked at load. Regulatory metrics and reports are produced from the engine's results, each with its checks and provenance.
OutcomeReports produced in seconds, checked and traceable down to the source data.

Case 04
Stress simulation.
SituationEvery scenario requested by the committee or the supervisor has to be set up, recomputed and documented, often outside the production chain.
With RIALTOTwo ways to stress: configure a scenario in the tool, or describe it directly in the chat. Metrics are recomputed and explained at once, and the scenario is saved and replayable.
OutcomeA stress computed with the same rules as production, available immediately.

Edit a stress
The scenario is saved, not computed. To get the ratio, cite it in conversation: “what is the LCR under the … stress”.

Case 05
Reverse stress and remediation.
SituationA stress test measures the impact of a given scenario. Reverse stress testing asks the opposite question: at what shock intensity is the limit breached, and which balance-sheet adjustments bring it back in line?
With RIALTOThe user sets the target threshold (e.g. LCR at 90%) and the items they can act on. RIALTO determines the solution precisely and reproducibly:
- Breaking point: the shock intensity the balance sheet can absorb before breaching the limit.
- Quantified remediation plan: which items to adjust, in which direction and by how much.
- Targeted effort: the correction focuses first on the most effective items.
- Consistent and traceable: the calculation applies the same rules as the regulatory calculation.
OutcomeA precise, reproducible and traceable action plan, ready for the committee.

Case 06
Preparing the ALM committee with a custom report.
SituationFor the ALCO pack: days of preparation, copy-pasting between tools, and figures that no longer always match the engine's.
With RIALTOYour report, your way, at every committee.
A fully customisable report
- A catalogue of ready-to-use templates: start from an existing template or a blank page.
- You choose everything: analyses, their order, currencies, entities, level of detail.
- Your own layout: tabs, block sizes, chart types, colours.
- Your templates saved and shared with your team, replayed in one click at every reporting date.
Configured by AI, in natural language
- One sentence is enough: “Prepare the LCR report for the March committee: the ratio by currency, the main contributors and the change since December.”
- The assistant proposes the selection, order and layout, with its suggestions.
- You adjust in conversation: “Add the Belgian subsidiary and put one tab per currency.”
- You validate before generation.
OutcomeA presentation-ready Excel workbook, generated in a few clicks instead of several days, with every figure traced back to the calculation.
